Auditory Verbal Graduate Finds His Handprint on the Memory Wall

Jacob a 20-year-old college sophomore who I saw for LSL auditory verbal therapy years ago recently stopped for a visit. He found his tiny, precious 7-month-old handprint on my wall. We had a blast sharing memories and stories!

Jacob was implanted as a toddler and today he attends the prestigious Wheaton College. He is gifted in science and math and travels across the USA competing in World Cube Association competitions for mechanical puzzles the most famous of these puzzles is the Rubik's Cube. He is AMAZING!

If I didn't know that he is deaf I would have no idea listening to his clear speech and advanced language. I'm thankful and amazed that many of my auditory verbal graduates and families keep in touch. 🧡
